Whilst working for a bank in Mumbai, I participated in a year-long leadership training initiative meant for Vice Presidents of the Bank. The initiative had two components – classroom conceptual inputs and executive coaching.
As part of the program design, my learning objectives (interpersonal skills /leadership behaviour) were set up in consolidation with me and my immediate senior. I was then coached on these throughout the initiative. The progress was measured by pre and post assessment.
