To the river ‘GANGA’: On Grandfather’s Death

The poet of this wonderful poem had a great affection for his grandfather.
He wrote these lines in Haridwar, while completing the final rites of his beloved grandfather

Mother…

I have come a long way,

Tired carrying his spent being – a handful of ashes;

His voice echoes still…

Summers later,

I shall return:

Accept me in prayer,

My little one’s grown-hands cupped skyward

Seeking Forgiveness…
